You may be new to entering the world of lash extensions or perhaps you have been getting them for years and are wondering how to maintain your lashes?
Lash extensions make any eyes look amazing and make getting ready in the mornings so easy, rolling out of bed and looking as though you’ve spent time on makeup… What a dream!
Aside from the fact that a lash extension appointment is one of the most relaxing experiences (We promise we won’t tell anyone if you fall asleep). When looked after, lash extensions last up to 3 weeks, at which point we recommend you book in for Lash infills.
Getting the most out of your lashes and keeping them looking fresh is easy!
- Stay away from oil-based makeup remover. When oil mixes with the lash glue it loosens the bond with your extensions. A water-based makeup remover will remove any eye makeup without removing the lash extensions.
- No curler, there’s really no need to use lash curlers whilst wearing lash extensions anyway! Lash extensions have a curl in and our lash tech will also select the right curl and length to match the desired look you are wanting.
- No pulling or self removing! Pulling your own lash extensions off never ends well, you will end up damaging your natural lashes. Please book in for removal with one of our trained lash techs.
- Water-based mascara! Using water-based mascara on your bottom lashes is best when wearing lash extensions.
- Avoid getting the lashes wet for 24 hours as this is the cure period.
- You can use a spooly (lash brush) to gently brush the lashes into place every morning.
Lash extensions give you a major confidence boost, they are great for events such as weddings and holidays as well as everyday wear! Going on the school run never looked so glam.
We advise that you come to each lash appointment without any eye makeup where possible and a patch test must be carried out for all new lash clients and as well as clients that haven’t had their lash extensions done in the salon with us for 6 months.
We use all Lashbase products and professionally handmade volume lashes at Teddy Grace salon, to book in contact the salon via phone or social media.
